BIOGRAPHY

Omar Flavio Careddu, received his first musical mention at the age of eleven at a singing contest, thanks to which he started a broad international music activity. He earned three degrees in cello by the Conservatories “Monteverdi” and “Bonporti” of Bolzano and Trento, and a diploma in Music Therapy. He recorded with the “Cordas et Cannas” group, sponsored by Peter Gabriel. Together with “Kastelruther Spatzen,” he took part in the recording of a DVD broadcast by the German ZDF television channel. He recorded as a soloist and in ensemble for the RAI, Mediaset, SKY, ZDF, among many others. He played as a soloist with the “Lorenzo Da Ponte” Orchestra, and the “Bozner Jugend Orchester” and he is the first Cello Guest in the “Orchestra Giovanile Trentina”.
