Born in Naples in 1965, started studying Organ and Composition as a child at the Conservatory of his hometown.

Moving continuously between Vatican City and Milan he completed his studies with multiple degrees in Organ, Composition, Choral Music and Choir Conducting, Musical Paleography and Semiography of the Renaissance, Computer Music.

The experience with Azio Corghi has been the most important for his creativity: the very long time of the relationship with him started early in 1987 and finished in 1996 with the Santa Cecilia Master Degree in Composition (Rome).

Since he was deeply interested in the artistic implication of modern scientific theories he also studied Computer Sciences and for a very long time he was a freelance teacher and a worldwide consultant of large internet computer-networks and multimedia low-level systems for distributing music via Internet, working for IBM

As theoretician and journalist, he has published more than 120 articles about computer music programming, mathematics, music theory etc.

He has published also several books for Ricordi, DeAgostini, Berben, Rugginenti.

His compositions include works for solo instruments, video art, organ, orchestra, oratorio, ballet, theater, film, advertising, chamber music for various ensembles and electronic music. He has also worked for a long time as film music composer, music for advertising.

His works have been awarded with many first prizes in the following national and international composition prizes:

He has also taught dozen of master classes in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Olso, Stockholm, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Abu Dhabi, New Delhi, Dubai, New York, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Wien, Brno, Praga, Budapest, Manchester, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Poznan. etc. etc.

At present he is teaching Composition, Music Analysis and Film Music at Milan’s Conservatory of Music “Giuseppe Verdi”
