She was born in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Conservatoire European Music de Paris and Toho Gakuen School of Music. She has been awarded many prizes, including being a winner of the 56th Japan Music Competition, 2nd Prize in the Chamber Music division of UFAM International Competition, 3rd Prize in Japan Chamber Music Competition, 2nd Prize (the best among Japanese participants) in the 2 pianos – 4 hands division of International Piano Duo Competition, and was also chosen as the best student of Tours International Music Academy for two years in a row. She has performed in many countries, such as Japan, Taiwan, USA, Canada, England, France and Singapore. Recently, she plays as a soloist with orchestras, a piano recitalist and a performer of chamber music. She is a founding member of the Omega Trio(Vn.Kenta Matsumi, Vc.Ken Karatsu). She has performed as a collaborator with Massimo Paris of I Musici, Christoph Hartmann of Berliner Philharmoniker, Jian Wang, Maxence Larrieu, Gilbert Audin of Les Vents Francais, and Mischa Maisky. Her performances have several times been broadcast by NHK FM radio and TV in Japan. She is also a recording artist and has released a number of CDs.
