The Classics and Jazz label branch of Da Vinci has its offices in Osaka, a business heart of Japan.
Devoted to presenting high-quality recordings of music of all styles, its production embraces all periods from the twelfth century to the twenty-first, including also jazz and world music as part of the human history of music and favoring never before recorded repertoire.
From the beginning, the label has extended its range of interest to large projects like the complete keyboard works by Johann Sebastian Bach, the complete sonata cycle by Mozart at clavichord, both under the patronage by Baerenreiter, and the complete sonatas by Beethoven at fortepiano as well as the New Music Masterworks series.
Da Vinci approach every new project with a single goal: to capture the wider possible musical interest. Renowned sound engineers and music recording studios are collaborating closely with important productions to ensure the highest quality possible to music lovers.
Some of our most notables artists are: singers Desirée Rancatore, Roberto Abbondanza, Roberto Aronica and Roberto Scandiuzzi, the violinist Yulia Berinskaya, the orchestras I Musici di Parma and Orchestra dell'Opera di Parma, the violist Massimo Paris, flutists Andrea Oliva and Raffaele Trevisani, the guitarist Paolo Fabbri, the composer Markus Stockhausen among many others.
