    Description

According to Bertrand Russell, to grow means to gradually broaden one’s interests, making them less individualistic, until the wall of one’s ego crumbles and personal life becomes an integral part of the universe. I have known Massimiliano and Giacomo for years and have followed their growth over time through various achievements and projects. I like to believe that the partnership of Dimidian represents the fall of Russell’s wall.

Find a Light flows to the rhythm of the universe but, contrary to the astral monotony that the music of the spheres must be, it is rooted in the earth of this world. The two musicians have not hesitated to dig, getting their hands dirty with all sorts of sonic manifestations. Guided by the breath of the saxophone and the punctuation of the bass, Dimidiam carries us on a lyrical current that conceals, sublimating it, the most egocentric technical gesture. It calmly imposes itself on the listener with the serene intensity that only an open dialogue, as rare as it is precious, can achieve.
