Paolo Fradiani: born in Avezzano, Italy, 1984. He Graduated in Master’s Degree with 110/110 and honors in composition and studied at the Conservatory of Music”Alfredo Casella” in L’Aquila and Hochschule für Musik in Mannheim.
As a bass player he has played with some of the most important national and international festivals of jazz including: Villacelimontana Jazz Festival, Atina Jazz, Tuscia in Jazz, Valsugana Jazz Tour (Trentino Jazz ), Festival Internazionale di Mezza Estate, Suono Italiano 2016 at the Italian Istitute of Culture – Istanbul and live on national radio “Radio 3”.
His works as a composer were performed in Italy, France, Germany and Turkey in Festivals such as: Festival di Bellagio e del Lago di Como, Invenzioni – New Tubes, Neuköllner Originaltöne,
Heidelberger Kammermusikfestival, Werkstatt Neue Musik, Cello Modern, Geophon – Earquake, Arpissima, Casella in Concerto, Festival Arpe in Villa, Festival dei 2 Mondi di Spoleto, Stagione della Società Aquilana dei Concerti B.Barattelli, Festival Fatti di Musica, Rassegna dei Concertisti del Conservatorio “A.Casella” di L’Aquila; by Ensemble, Orchestra and soloists such as: Nikolaus Friedrich (solo clarinettist an the Orchester des Nationaltheaters Mannheim), Nabla Ensemble, Anemos Quartet, Ensemble Casella , EMCF Ensemble of Contemporary Music of Ferrara

He was awarded at “Arpissima 2014”, at “Premio Abbado 2015” of the Italian Ministry of Education and at “National Festival of Italian Conservatoires”. He has also composed the music for the movie “Non, tu Exagères” for French-German television “Arte/ZDF”. His works are published by Universal Edition in Vienna.
