The fil rouge of the album allows the listener to enjoy a profound homogeneity of musical forms and essences thanks to an eclectic program. An auditive journey offering a selection of Lieder composed by Robert Schumann and reworked by Sergio Fiorentino trying to preserve the basic idea of their composition: being purely Chamber songs (voice with piano accompaniment) although performed by a single instrument. Passing through the organ timbres in the chorale “Ich ruf ‘ zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ” BWV 639 by Bach-Busoni up to the clear singability and harmonious timbres of the transcription Après un rêve by Fauré/Fiorentino. […]
