Biography
Allan Manhas is a Brazilian award-winning pianist, educator, and conductor. His extensive concert activity has taken him to numerous countries in North and South America, and in Europe, leading to performances in important concert halls such as the Kravis Center (West Palm Beach, USA), Scriabin Museum (Moscow, Russia), Chopin House (Żelazowa Wola, Poland), Curt Sachs Halle (Berlin, Germany), Georg Friedrich Haendel Halle (Halle, Germany), and Mendelssohn House (Leipzig, Germany).
Having studied in Brazil, Germany, and Belgium, Manhas was mentored by distinguished musicians like Fernando Corvisier, Marco Antonio de Almeida, and Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri. He further honed his craft under celebrated artists such as Lilya Zilberstein, Josep Colom, Boris Berman, Paul Badura-Skoda, Jerome Lowenthal, John Perry, Felix Gottlieb, Pascal Devoyon, Michel Béroff, and Eugen Indjic. He won several competitions in South America and Europe and has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and a conductor with prestigious ensembles in iconic venues (Berliner Philharmonie, Nikolaisaal Potsdam), reflecting his versatility and commitment to showcasing diverse musical traditions.
