Biography
Andrea Miazzon is currently studying composition with Hanspeter Kyburz, music theory with Jörg Mainka and jazz with Maria Baptist at the Höchschule für Musik H.
Eisler in Berlin. Earlier he studied piano in Vicenza, earning a degree under the guidance of Marco Tezza, and composition with Giovanni Bonato in Padua. As a pianist he took part in many chamber music projects and worked as an accompanist; he also collaborated several times with Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico as an orchestra pianist. He has taken part in several piano masterclasses. His interest towards improvisational practice has brought him to perform fully improvised concerts, for example accompanying silent movies.
