Coffee Street Trio

Coffee Street Trio brings together Carlo Maria Barile on piano, Vito Di Modugno on bass and double bass, and Michele Di Monte on drums. Barile formed the ensemble with his former teachers, and the group takes its name from Di Modugno’s composition Coffee Street.

For Manhattan Suite… and Other Stories, recorded in Bari in August 2018 and released by Da Vinci Jazz, the trio presents Barile’s musical portrait of New York in a new setting that combines jazz with elements of classical music. The programme also includes Barile’s All the Things… I Am and Di Modugno’s Coffee Street.
