Duo Padovani-Mauro
Biography
Enrico Padovani and Alessandra Mauro form a piano duo and are also partners in life. Based in Parma, a city closely associated with Italian opera, they studied respectively with Roberto Cappello and Andrea Padova and perform in Italy and abroad.
Mauro comes from southern Italy and Padovani from the north. Their partnership brings together intellect and passion, learning and instinct, structure and melody. They perform music for piano four hands and two pianos; their Mozart recording for Da Vinci Classics presents the Sonatas K. 497 and K. 521, the Andante and Variations K. 501 and the Adagio and Allegro K. 594.
