Ensemble Del Giglio

Ensemble del Giglio is a vocal and instrumental group whose membership varies according to the programme and artistic requirements. It belongs to the Associazione Sicut Lilium in Beinette, Cuneo, Italy. Its repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque music to twentieth-century and contemporary works. The ensemble has commissioned and premiered motets by several composers, as well as Andrea Baudino’s oratorio Qoèlet, and has performed in Italy and France.

Its singers have explored widely differing repertoires in various formations, both as ensemble members and as soloists, in professional and amateur groups in Italy and abroad. In October 2016, Ensemble del Giglio won first prize in the ensemble category at the seventh Lake Maggiore National Choral Competition.
