Biography
Filippo Maria Tuccimei is a bass, classical guitarist and choir director. His vocal work has focused particularly on early, Renaissance and Baroque repertoire and its polyphonic forms, alongside Classical, Romantic and contemporary music.
He worked for several years in the choir of Turin’s Teatro Regio and in the choir of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Since 2002 he has been a member of the a cappella vocal quintet Alti & Bassi. As a member of Fleur-de-Lys, he participates in the ensemble’s exploration of modern vocal writing, including Carlo Alessandro Landini’s Libro di Madrigali.
