Biography
Giona Pasquetto (born 1996) graduated in clarinet with honours and an honourable mention from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como under C. Dell’Acqua. His further training included master’s-level studies and work with performers such as F. Meloni, R. Van Spaendonck, M. Ferrando, L. Burke, T. Lonquich, C. Palermo, J. Manasse and S. Kam.
He qualified for the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and was admitted to the orchestral training course at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He was also a finalist in the European Union Youth Orchestra auditions for two consecutive years. He has also played with the Civica Filarmonica in Lugano, the Orchestra Poseidon and the Orchestra Pizzetti.
