Biography
Giulio de Iudicibus
Born in Bari, Giulio de Iudicibus belongs to that distinguished Apulian pianistic school whose lineage traces back to one of its most illustrious founders, Michele Marvulli.
His pianistic and musical education was shaped by Marvulli himself and by the composer Raffaele Gervasio. After graduating with highest honours in Piano from the “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, he went on to obtain diplomas in both Composition and Band Instrumentation. Alongside an active career as a soloist and chamber musician, he pursued academic studies at the University of Bologna, where he graduated summa cum laude in Music, Performing and Visual Arts Studies (Discipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello Spettacolo). He currently holds the Chair of Piano at the “Nino Rota” Conservatory of Music in Monopoli.
