Tebje Poem

Tebje Poem is the mixed choir credited in Jorge A. Bosso’s Der Frühling der Minnesänger (The Spring of the Minstrels) on the Da Vinci Classics album Brothers. Conducted by Kostantin Jakobson and joined by violinist Dora Schwarzberg, the ensemble performs Bosso’s reimagining of Bach’s Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004, in which the solo violin is placed in dialogue with choral settings of medieval poetry and other texts. The performance was recorded live at the Philharmonic Hall in Krasnoyarsk on 23 December 2009.
