Biography
Teo Aparicio-Barberán (1967) is a Spanish composer, saxophonist, conductor and scholar. He has a PhD degree in music at the Cardenal Herrera University of Valencia and he is currently professor of music of the Valencian Community.
His career as a conductor focuses in brass bands, field in which he is regarded as an expert. His musical compositions have been performed by some of the most prestigious bands: The Swiss Army Band, the Mannheim Symphonic Band, The Madrid Brass Band, the Rundfunk Blasorchester-Leipzig, the Mare Nostrum Band of Valencia, the Royal Guides Band of Belgium and the Russia Ministry of Defense Band, in countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Portugal, Japan, the United States, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Costa Rica and the Netherlands.
