Valeria Vecerina
Valeria Vecerina, born in Italy on 27.03.2001, started studying violin at 5. She began her studies with different teachers, including the violinist Davide Alogna, who prepared her for admission to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como at the age of 11.

Then she graduated with Enrico Casazza in July 2021 with 110 cum laude. She has attended numerous prestigious Academies such as the “Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento dei Musici di Parma” with Stefano Pagliani, the Imola “Incontri col Maestro” Academy and the “Fondazione Scuola di Musica di Fiesole” Academy with Professors Oleksandr Semchuck and Ksenia Milas and the “Stauffer Center for Strings” Academy with Professor Salvatore Accardo. With Salvatore Accardo she also participated in the summer masterclasses at the “Accademia Chigiana” in Siena in 2021 and 2022.
She has attended masterclasses with Maestro Francesco Manara, Ilya Grubert, Shlomo Mintz, Leonidas Kavakos and Natalia Prischepenko.
She has been awarded first prizes in the International Competitions of San Bartolomeo al mare, Vimodrone and London's Grand Prize Virtuoso and performed in the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall. Then, she took the scholarship to the Scimone Competition 2023 in Padua.
She performed Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, at the Palazzina Liberty in Milan for the MiAmor Festival 2019 and Bach double concerto at Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. In November 2022, she performed for “Camera con Musica” in the Sala Bianca of the Teatro Sociale in Como.
In September 2023, she performed for the Fondazione Società dei Concerti in Milan and in chamber ensembles at the Lacmus Festival in 2023 and 2024. She has performed in chamber music for the Collégiale Festival in Neuchâtel, ExpoMus (Como), Settimane Musicali Internazionali in Alessandria, VIVAVERDI OFF in Matera, Visioni Urbane Rionero – Festival Schermi, Festival AsSud in Bari, and the Festival di Capo di Leuca. She has collaborated with the Schweizer Jugend Sinfonie Orchester (SJSO) under the direction of Modestas Pitrenas.
In 2023, she earned her Master of Arts in Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, studying with Klaidi Sahatçi, where she also had the opportunity to take chamber music masterclasses with Danilo Rossi, Enrico Dindo, and Jordi Pons.
In 2025, she obtained her Master de Soliste at the Haute École de Musique of Geneva–Neuchâtel with Sergey Ostrovsky, and had the opportunity to perform J. Brahms’ Violin Concerto Op. 77 at the Auditorium Ansermet in Geneva.
She plays a Paul Audinot on loan from the Lalive Foundation in Geneva.
