Alberto Tomarchio (born 1962) is a composer represented on Reedin' the Air by three pieces for clarinet and accordion, dedicated to Duo RomAnce: Al Moulin Rouge (Lever le rideau), Il cubo di Rubik (Puzzle matematico-musicale) and Scherzo su due note. His own notes describe their contrasting starting points: the theatrical world of cabaret, a mathematical-musical puzzle, and the development of an entire piece from a two-note motif.
