Alessandro Palazzani

Alessandro Palazzani is an Italian composer from Brescia. He graduated in composition with full marks from the Brescia Conservatory and developed his practical knowledge through the study of several musical instruments.

His writing combines traditional compositional techniques with instrumental experimentation, favouring a clear and accessible musical language. His Pastorale for soprano saxophone and organ, recorded on Passato | Presente, takes its programme from the shepherds and the announcement of Christ’s birth in the Gospel of St Luke.
