Eligio Cremonini
Biography
Eligio Cremonini (1854–1926) was an Italian cellist and teacher, born in San Giovanni in Persiceto. He trained with Francesco Serato in Bologna and continued his studies with Luigi Mancinelli in Florence, where he became principal cellist at Teatro La Pergola.
He taught in Modena and Turin before joining the Liceo Musicale Rossini in Pesaro in 1896. There he founded the Trio Pesarese with violinist Raffaele Frontali and pianist Mario Vitali.
