Luys Milán

Luys Milán, also known as Luis de Milán, was a Spanish Renaissance composer, vihuelist and writer associated with Valencia. His El Maestro, printed there in 1536 and dedicated to King John III of Portugal, contains fantasias, dances and songs for the vihuela. Its carefully organised repertoire is one of the central surviving sources for sixteenth-century Spanish instrumental music.
