Tim Davies

Tim Davies, born in 1972, is an Australian composer, orchestrator and conductor working across film, television, video games and concert music. His activity combines orchestral scoring with a background in jazz performance and writing.

Alongside his screen-music work, he leads the Tim Davies Big Band and writes music for jazz and concert ensembles. His compositions bring together rhythmic energy, large-ensemble colour and an interest in the meeting points between contemporary orchestral music and jazz.
