Viatcheslav Semionov

Viatcheslav Semionov is a Russian bayan player, composer and teacher whose work has contributed to the instrument’s modern concert repertoire. His compositions combine a performer’s command of the bayan with a wide range of lyrical, rhythmic and timbral possibilities. They have become an important part of the repertory of contemporary accordionists, including Michele Bianco’s programme Silhouetten.
