Da Vinci Publishing is an independent publisher of music recordings and scores. It was founded in 2015 in Osaka, Japan, by Edmondo Filippini. Since that year, it established a rich catalogue of both printed music and recordings, focusing in particular on the Classical and Jazz repertoires.

It began as a small-sized reality, and its beginning are dedicated to contemporary music: the Society’s project started with a first publication dedicated to the acousmatic music by Biagio Putignano. From that moment, and almost immediately, the Da Vinci catalogue opened itself to large-scale productions, including the complete recording of Bach’s keyboard works and the complete recording of Mozart’s and Beethoven’s Keyboard on period instruments. The Society established partnerships leading it, within a short time, to the publication of approximately 150 recordings and 200 scores every year.

Today, the Society’s publications are distributed worldwide thanks to Egea Music, which carefully manages their presence in the paper and discographic catalogues. In 2019, Da Vinci established an agreement with Naxos, for the inclusion of its catalogue within the prestigious Naxos Music Library. In 2019, moreover, Hal Leonard accepted to distribute the Society’s printed music.
These elements, combined with the always increasing attention to its productions by the most important specialist journals and channels (such as Rivista Musica, Res Musica, Pizzicato, Rekoodo no Geijutsu, Gramophone, American Record Guide, France Musique, Radio 3, and Rai 5), quickly led Da Vinci to international success. This brought the Society to grow increasingly in terms of musical offer, with more and more prestigious artistic collaborations.

In 2018 the DV Studio project took form. It represents the idea of a recording studio created in order to respond to the artists’ needs, rather than vice-versa. Since its foundation, it gradually and constantly established itself, to the point that today it realizes most of the published recordings, allowing the company’s] complete supervision of every project it undertakes.

In 2020, the idea of DV Young Sounds came from an intuition by founder Edmondo Filippini and his collaborator Gabriele Zanetti, with the cooperation of musicologist and pianist Chiara Bertoglio. It is a project dedicated to young musicians and to the future of Classical music. DVYS is a call for recording projects financing new musical ideas proposed by new entries in the artistic field. Yearly, they are invited to propose their projects: if accepted, their realization will be entirely financed by the Società Da Vinci, leading, in some cases, to discographic debuts.

In 2021 a cooperation with the Festival “Armonie della Sera” also began. Da Vinci Publishing is the Festival’s media partner; it manages the recording (and thus part of the Festival’s very memory) of the most prestigious live concerts. These are later broadcast on radio, and some are published within a special collection dedicated to the Festival.

In spite of its temporal brevity, the Society’s story is marked by its great variety and by the attention it dedicates to artistic quality. It favours, first and foremost, a direct and unmediated relationship with the artist. In the digital era of interconnections, it emphasizes primarily the human relationship with and among people.

Casa editrice e musicale indipendente, Da Vinci Publishing è stata fondata nel 2015 a Osaka, Giappone, da Edmondo Filippini, e da quell’anno ha sviluppato un imponente catalogo sia di musica a stampa che discografico centrato in particolar modo sul repertorio Classico e Jazz.

Iniziata come piccola realtà con una prima base dedicata alla musica contemporanea, il progetto della società inizia con un primo titolo dedicato alla musica acusmatica di Biagio Putignano. Da quel momento il catalogo Da Vinci si è quasi subito aperto a produzioni di ampio respiro, come l’integrale delle musiche per tastiera di Bach e l’integrale su strumenti storici della sonate di Mozart e Beethoven, stabilendo collaborazioni che hanno portato in breve tempo alla pubblicazione di 150 titoli discografici e circa 200 partiture all’anno.

Distribuita oggi in tutto il mondo grazie ad Egea Music che ne cura con attenzione la presenza nei catalogi fisici e discografici, Da Vinci ha avviato nel 2019 un accordo con Naxos per l’inserimento del proprio catalogo nella prestigiosa Naxos Music Library, mentre sempre dal 2019 Hal Leonard ha accettato la distribuzione della musica a stampa.

Questo, unito alla sempre crescente attenzione da parte delle più importanti testate di settore, tra cui Rivista Musica, Res Musica, Pizzicato, Rekoodo no Geijutsu, Gramophone, American Record Guide, France Musique, Radio 3 e Rai 5, per citarne solo alcune, ha permesso a Da Vinci un rapido affermarsi internazionale, portando la società ad una crescita costante in termini di proposte musicali, con collaborazioni artistiche di sempre maggior prestigio.

Nel 2018 prende avvio il progetto DV Studio, un’idea di studio di registrazione nato per andare incontro alle esigenze degli artisti, e non viceversa, che fin dalla sua nascita ha conosciuto un graduale e costante affermarsi tanto da realizzare oggi buona parte di tutte le registrazioni pubblicate, permettendo una supervisione completa a ogni progetto che viene proposto.

Da un’idea del fondatore Edmondo Filippini e del responsabile Gabriele Zanetti, con la collaborazione della musicologa e pianista Chiara Bertoglio, nel 2020 prende invece vita l’idea di DV Young Sounds. Progetto dedicato ai giovani e al futuro della musica colta, DVYS è un Bando di finanziamento focalizzato su nuovi progetti musicali proposti dalle nuove leve in campo artistico che possono annualmente proporre i loro progetti che, se accettati, verranno finanziati interamente dalla Società Da Vinci portando, in alcuni casi, al debutto discografico.

Nel 2021 prende anche avvio la collaborazione con il Festival “Armonie della Sera”, dove Da Vinci Publishing, presente come media partner, cura la registrazione, e quindi parte della memoria del Festival stesso, dei concerti live di maggior prestigio che vengono poi sia trasmessi radiofonicamente che alcuni pubblicati in una collana apposita dedicata al Festival.

La storia della società, per quanto temporalmente assai breve, si connota per la grande ricchezza e l’attenzione che vengono poste alla qualità artistica, prediligendo innanzitutto un rapporto diretto con l’artista, senza intermediari, ponendo l’accento, nell’era del digitale e delle interconnessioni, innanzitutto sull’aspetto del rapporto umano con e tra le persone.

　Da Vinci Publishingは音源制作、録音、楽譜の出版全般に関する独立した出版社です。2015年にEdomondo Filippiniによって設立されて以来、特にクラシックとジャズの分野に焦点を当てた豊富なレパートリーを、音源・楽譜の両方において確立してきました。

　弊社は、小さな現代音楽のプロジェクトから始まりました。Biagio Putignano氏による音響音楽が、弊社が発行した初めての作品でした。その時から絶え間なく成長を重ね、現在ではバッハの全ての鍵盤作品の録音や、古楽器によるモーツァルトとベートーベンの全ての鍵盤作品の録音を弊社カタログに加えるになりました。弊社は、短期間で毎年約150の録音と200の楽譜の発行に至るまで成長しました。

　今日、弊社の出版作品はイタリアの大手出版社EgeaMusicにより世界中の方々に購入されています。 また、2019年、有名なナクソスミュージックライブラリーに弊社出版カタログを含めることで、ナクソス社との契約を締結しました。さらに、ハルレナード社は弊社の録音作品の取り扱いを決めました。

　また、弊社の作品は様々な専門誌やメディア（Rivista Musica、Res Musica、Pizzicato、レコードの芸術、Gramophone、American Record Guide、Classica, Diapason, France Musique、Rai-Radio 3、Rai 5等）にも取り上げられ、弊社の制作に対する注目が高まっているのも相まって弊社を国際的な成功へと導きました。これにより世界で活躍する著名なアーティストとのコラボレーションを実現し、弊社が提案する音楽のクオリティを更に高めています。

　2018年に弊社専用録音スタジオ DV　Studio プロジェクトを立ち上げました。徹底的にアーティストに寄り添い、ニーズを満たすレコーディングスタジオとして設立されました。

開設以来改良を重ね、現在では弊社が行うレコーディングの全てを担えるほど、アーティストから全幅の信頼を得たスタジオになっています。

　2020年、DV Young Soundsは、音楽学者でピアニストのChiara Bertoglio女史の協力を得て、弊社創設者のEdmondo Filippiniと彼の協力者であるGabriele Zanettiのインスピレーションから生まれた、若い音楽家とクラシック音楽の未来に捧げるプロジェクトです。

　DVYSは若い音楽家のためのレコーディングプロジェクトで、全ての若い音楽家に応募の資格があります。応募されたアイデアの中から弊社のSocietà Da Vinciの選定により、レコーディングに関わる一切の資金提供を行います。場合により、弊社からのレコードデビューの提案も致します。

　2021年にはイタリアの音楽祭「アルモニーデッラセーラ”Armonie della Sera”」のメディアパートナーとなりました。弊社が音楽祭の最も大事な記録の一部、コンサートの録音を担います。この録音は後に主要なラジオで放送され、一部はフェスティバル専用の特別アーカイブ内で公開されます。

　弊社は発足からの歴史はまだまだ短いですが、その芸術価値を高めることに一切の労を惜しまず、常に品質向上に注力していることを特徴としています。

　また、このデジタル社会の中で、アーティストと直接コミュニケーションを取ることにより信頼関係を深め、より良い作品の制作に取り組んでいます。

다 빈치 퍼블리싱(Da Vinci Publishing) 은 음반과 악보를 전문적으로 제작·발행하는 독립 출판사로, 2015년 일본 오사카에서 에드몬도 필리피니(Edmondo Filippini)에 의해 설립되었습니다. 창립 이래 클래식과 재즈 레퍼토리에 특히 주력하여, 악보와 음반을 망라한 폭넓고 풍성한 카탈로그를 구축해 왔습니다.

설립 초기에는 소규모로 출발해 현대 음악에 집중했으며, 첫 출간물로 비아조 푸티냐노(Biagio Putignano)의 아쿠스마틱 음악을 선보였습니다. 이를 계기로 빠르게 대규모 프로젝트로 영역을 확장하여, 바흐 건반 작품 전집과 고악기로 연주한 모차르트·베토벤 건반 작품 전집 등을 연이어 발매했습니다. 이러한 적극적인 기획과 협업을 통해 단기간 내 매년 약 150종의 음반과 200종의 악보를 발행하는 성과를 거두었습니다.

현재 다 빈치 퍼블리싱의 출판물은 “에제아 뮤직(Egea Music)” 을 통해 전 세계로 유통되고 있으며, 2019년에는 “낙소스(Naxos)” 와의 파트너십을 통해 권위 있는 낙소스 뮤직 라이브러리(Naxos Music Library)에 카탈로그를 등재했습니다. 같은 해 “할 레오나드(Hal Leonard)” 와의 협력을 통해 악보 또한 글로벌 시장으로 배포함으로써 세계적 유통망을 확립했습니다.

이와 더불어 Rivista Musica, Res Musica, Pizzicato, Rekoodo no Geijutsu, Gramophone, American Record Guide, France Musique, Radio 3, Rai 5 등 저명한 음악 전문 매체와 채널의 관심이 높아지면서 다 빈치 퍼블리싱은 국제 무대에서 빠르게 영향력을 확대했습니다. 이를 계기로 더욱 폭넓은 음악 기획과 저명 아티스트들과의 협업을 지속적으로 추진하고 있습니다.

2018년에는 DV 스튜디오(DV Studio) 프로젝트를 출범하여, 예술가의 요구사항을 우선적으로 반영하는 녹음 환경을 조성했습니다. 현재 발행되는 대부분의 음반을 DV 스튜디오에서 제작하고 있어, 각 프로젝트 전 과정에 대한 감독과 품질 관리가 가능해졌습니다.

2020년에는 창립자 에드몬도 필리피니와 가브리엘레 자네티(Gabriele Zanetti), 음악학자이자 피아니스트인 키아라 베르톨리오(Chiara Bertoglio)가 함께 **DV 영 사운즈(DV Young Sounds, 이하 DVYS)**를 기획했습니다. 이는 신진 음악가와 클래식 음악의 미래를 위한 프로젝트로, 매년 새로운 예술가들의 창의적인 녹음 기획을 공모하고 선정된 팀에게 전액 제작비를 지원하여, 경우에 따라서는 데뷔 음반 출시까지 이어지도록 돕는 역할을 합니다.

2021년에는 “아르모니 델라 세라(Armonie della Sera)” 페스티벌과의 협업을 시작했습니다. 다 빈치 퍼블리싱은 이 페스티벌의 미디어 파트너로서 가장 주목받는 라이브 콘서트를 녹음하고, 이를 보존하는 역할을 맡고 있습니다. 일부 녹음은 라디오 방송에 송출되고, 또 다른 일부는 페스티벌 전용 특별 컬렉션으로 발매됩니다.

비록 짧은 연혁에도 불구하고, 다 빈치 퍼블리싱은 다양한 레퍼토리와 높은 예술적 완성도에 대한 꾸준한 열정으로 국내외에서 빠르게 명성을 쌓아가고 있습니다. 무엇보다도 아티스트와의 직접적인 소통을 중시하며, 디지털 시대의 상호 연결 속에서도 사람과 사람 간의 유대와 교류를 핵심 가치로 삼고 있습니다.
