Euramerican Quintet
Biography
The Euramerican Quintet brings together violinists Ariel Horowitz and Piotr Marciak, violist Carlos Garfias, cellist Tomasz Wiroba, and composer and guitarist Battista Giordano. The ensemble performed the world première of Giordano’s Krónos e Kairós at the Teatro Comunale on 30 July 2017, as the closing production of the thirtieth Calagonone Jazz Festival. The work was written for this combination of string quartet and guitar, and the concert was recorded for the album released by Da Vinci.
