Kai Hirayama
Biography
Kai Hirayama is a clarinettist, improviser and recording musician devoted to contemporary music. Based in the New York area, he collaborates with composers on new solo and chamber works and performs with orchestras and theatrical productions. He completed his doctoral studies at Stony Brook University with Alan Kay and is also active as a teacher.
