Mayke Rademakers

Mayke Rademakers is a Dutch cellist, composer and improviser whose work connects classical performance with contemporary musical exploration. She performs on acoustic and electric cello, developing projects that combine composed material, improvisation and contrasting sound worlds. Her solo project Stagioni draws inspiration from Vivaldi, minimalism, blues and rock. In Dialogue, recorded with percussionist Alfredo Laviano, she explores the expressive relationship between the cello, percussion and spontaneous musical invention.
