Nunzio Ferro
Biography
Nunzio Ferro is an Italian guitarist and composer whose work with Casinò Babis draws on the French Gypsy-jazz tradition and the example of Django Reinhardt. He wrote the nine original pieces on C’est la vie!, his first album, released by Da Vinci Jazz.
On the recording he performs alongside guitarist Marco Cavaliere, clarinettist Luigi Acquaro and double bassist Giovanni Mastrangelo. The programme combines melodic writing, acoustic ensemble interplay and improvisation.
