Nunzio Ferro: C'est la vie!

Casinò Babis is an acoustic Gypsy-jazz ensemble centred on guitarist and composer Nunzio Ferro. Its Da Vinci Jazz album C’est la vie! presents nine original compositions inspired by the French manouche tradition.

The recording brings together Nunzio Ferro and Marco Cavaliere on guitars, Luigi Acquaro on clarinet and Giovanni Mastrangelo on double bass. Their sound places melodic dialogue and improvisation within the rhythmic language associated with Django Reinhardt.
