About this edition

Ubi caritas et amor by Gabriele Caselli, for choir, organ and string quartet.

The score specifies SATB choir (soprano, alto, tenor and bass), organ, two violins, cello and double bass. The quartet of strings in this edition therefore consists of two violins, cello and double bass.

The sung text is in Latin. The score includes an Italian performance instruction explaining that organ dynamics refer to the sound level produced by the organist’s chosen registration.
