Incanto XXX by Simone Movio is a work for solo saxophone and ensemble, presented in a facsimile edition of the handwritten score. Composed between January and April 2024, it is dedicated to Angel Soria Diaz.
The solo part calls for one player doubling soprano saxophone in B-flat and alto saxophone in E-flat. The ensemble comprises flute, clarinet in B-flat, violin, cello and piano.
The work was commissioned by Asociación Sonsonart with the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, as acknowledged in the edition.
