Michel Zebracki

Michel Zebracki is a guitarist and arranger associated with Ensemble Rosaces. With singer Alice Khayati and flautist Gayané Doneyan, he explores connections between medieval repertoire, contemporary musical experience and improvisation.

Rather than attempting a strictly historical reconstruction, the ensemble develops new perspectives on early melodies through rhythmic flexibility, polyphonic freedom and arrangements for its distinctive combination of instruments. Zebracki contributes the guitar parts and arrangements heard on the Da Vinci recording Aurora Consurgens.
