Francesca Adamo: Piccola Sonatina Ostinata, for Mandolin and Piano

Francesca Adamo Sollima, born in Palermo in 1987, is a soprano, composer and performer. She studied composition with Marco Betta, graduating with full marks and honours, while developing a particular interest in chamber music and contemporary vocal repertoire. Her works include music for solo voice and small chamber ensembles. In 2015 she premiered Hildegard File III, commissioned for the Festival di Nuove Musiche at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo. Her Shapes 898 (Hildegard File No. IX), for clarinet and accordion, is recorded on Reedin' the Air.
