About this edition
Lorenzo Petrizzo’s Toccata is a work for orchestra lasting approximately nine minutes. The edition identifies it as the overall first-prize winner of the first “Girolamo Frescobaldi” International Composition Competition.
Instrumentation: two flutes, two oboes, two clarinets in B-flat, two bassoons, two horns in F, two trumpets in B-flat, four timpani, one percussionist (bass drum, glockenspiel and hand cymbals), harp and strings.
